Course Description

This seminar-format survey of historical and contemporary performing arts in multi-cultural Southeast Asia invites students to explore both their personal relationship with the lively arts (stage, recording and film) and cultural similarities and contrasts among societies and nations in Mainland and Maritime Southeast Asia.
