Course Description

This is a course for any student interested in how science has shaped society and the world. The course will take students on a journey through some of the most important scientific discoveries that have caused paradigm shifts in how we think about ourselves and the world. Although there are many scientific discoveries that might fit in this category, this course aims to highlight a few select discoveries that have shaped our modern way of thinking about ourselves and living in this world. It aims to help students understand why and how these discoveries hold such a transformative impact on us.
